Hell's Kitchen Rooms

These buildings are old style NYC Rooming Houses.  We manage private residential buildings.  We rent private rooms that you do not share with anyone else.  Each room has at least one window, a sink, and we provide a twin bed.  Other features vary from room to room.

These rooms are intended for single occupancy, we very rarely allow double occupancy.  Utilities are included in the rental price, with the exception of phone or internet which you must provide for yourself if desired.

All the rooms we have to rent at any given time have had moderate to extensive renovations.  Sizes and availability of rooms varies from week to week.  Generally each floor has 3 bathrooms to around 16 rooms.  Although shared, the bathrooms are private when you use them. We clean the buildings and the bathrooms, you are responsible only for your room.

Hell’s Kitchen Rooms consists of 3 buildings. One each on 44th, 45th, & 51st Streets between 8th and 9th Avenues.  We generally have a few rooms available every day.

Weekly rates range between $190-$275 a week.  Monthly rates range between $750-$1280 a month.  We have many long term tenants, but you are not obligated to a 6 month or 1 year lease.  You are only obligated to the week or month depending on how you set up your rental.  We rent only by the week or month, no shorter time periods.

We represent our own buildings.  There are no hidden agent fees.  Weekly rentals will require a one week security deposit.  Monthly rentals will require a security deposit as well.  We do a credit check for each individual that we rent to, which has a non-refundable cost of $50.  (It usually takes 2-7 days to finalize a tenancy.)

We evaluate each person on their own merits, and according to work and ability to pay your rent.  If you are unable to do a credit check for any reason including not being an American citizen, you can meet with the owner of the buildings to be evaluated for tenancy.  This has to happen generally between 12-5pm Monday through Friday.  We do regularly rent to foreign nationals.  We can accommodate a limited amount of short term stays.
